Sustainable certification
We’re happy to announce that we have obtained the sustainable certification SQNPI.
From a production perspective, we have been working in this direction for years and, thanks to constant research and experimentation, we have managed to develop agronomic techniques that respect the land and its fruits, producing wines that express the territory, enhancing its uniqueness and richness.
The aim of the last few years has been to reduce our footprint and to minimize the impact of our actions, implement new ethical and sustainable practices in order to guarantee solutions to the future generations that respect the environment and its resources. We strongly believe that the sustainable development is those capable of guarantee the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to do same to you.
Thanks to these practices in 2022 we have obtained from the Ministry of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies (MIPAAF) The SQNPI (National Quality Integrated System Production) recognition, that certificates and guarantees an agricultural production system based on agronomic defence methods that favour the use of natural resources, that respect and limit the impact on the environment. Our sustainable points:
-Territory protection: Safeguard and manutention of the woods in our property. -Wineyard biodiversity: Encourage settlement of insect pollinators throught the grassing of the vineyard during all the vegetative phases. -Low Enviromental impact: compliance with guidelines of the integrated production system, which consider the use of resources and natural regulation mechanisms, limiting the impact on the environment.
-Weather station: it allows the use of forecast models of vineyards disease, in order to treat the vines only when necessary.
-Photovoltaic system: starting from 2023 we produce the energy that we use in our various production process with our photovoltaic system. -Social commitment: development project in favour of the community with the goal of doing business in a shared and inclusive way.
