Getting ready for ProWein 2023

After several years, the National Wine Centre of the Czech Republic is once again preparing for the prestigious ProWein 2023 trade fair. With the support of the Czech Ministry of Agriculture and the Wine Fund, in cooperation with the renowned architectural office CHYBIK+KRISTOF and the traditional Czech furniture manufacturer TON, we will build a national wine tasting zone offering wines from a diverse range of wineries from small family businesses like MOSI, Piálek & Jäger and Fabig winery to large companies like Chateau winery Bzenec, Volařík and Sonberk, produced using traditional methods and modern technologies, from the winners of the Winery of the Year 2022 competition like Thaya Winery (medium-sized category) and BOHEMIA SEKT (large-sized category), the winner of the Winemaker of the Year 2022 competition Mikrosvín Mikulov and several other finalists.
Eleven varieties of wine including whites, reds and sparkling will be presented in our tasting zone divided into 3 sections: 1. Bubbles & Natural, 2. Local Darlings and 3. The Internationals.
