Under normal circumstances, one or two of you would already be sitting on packed suitcases at this time and preparing for the days ahead in Düsseldorf. But what do they say in France? C’est la vie! So this year, there will be a bit more time for us all to get in the mood for the reunion between 15 and 17 May 2022. After all, the anticipation is often sweeter than the realisation!

As the world’s leading trade fair for wines and spirits, ProWein will remain true to itself in 2022 despite all the adversities. Exhibitors from all the world’s wine-growing regions are coming to Düsseldorf. More than 60 countries in total will present their wines. Not only will the new vintages be presented at ProWein though, but valuable glimpses behind the scenes are also provided. The exhibitors will be waiting for you at the stands to provide you with professional information. In addition to industry news and discussions, numerous tasting opportunities and presentations will enrich your visit to the trade fair.

In this email I give you a taste of our great offer in general, but focus especially on the portfolio of my exhibitors from Germany and France. France and Germany are raising a glass today: „Zum Wohl – À votre santé!“

The entire ProWein team cordially invites you to three days packed with new impressions, exciting contacts and rewarding business. In this spirit, I concur with our motto this year too and say: “Let’s reunite for business!”

for Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Luxemburg and international organic wines

In Hall 1: Germany – I’m looking forward to being able to use Hall 1 with the new, top-connected South Entrance for the first time at ProWein 2022. Messe Düsseldorf’s most modern hall is currently the highlight of the entire exhibition grounds.
Here we invite you on a journey through all the relevant German wine-growing regions – from the Palatinate to the Mosel, Ahr, Nahe, Rheingau and Rheinhessen to Baden, Württemberg, Franconia, Saale-Unstrut and Saxony. Of course, the VDP is also represented here again with all its regions.

In Hall 4: Germany & more – There is a lot on offer in Hall 4: with numerous lectures and tastings in the Meininger publishing area; you can also expect an exciting new concept of winning wines from Mundus Vini and the Wein+Markt Competence Centre. Hall 4 is home to well-known brand companies such as Schlumberger, Henkell- Freixenet, Les Grands Chais and Herres Layat, among others.

In Hall 5: Organic? Of course! – The topic of organic wines is becoming increasingly important for wine consumers. In Hall 5, there is therefore a separate area where roughly 300 exhibitors will be represented. Both the German and the international organic wine associations will be there with their relevant winegrowers. The Organic Lounge is fully booked again with about 40 European winegrowers!

In Halls 9, 10 & 11: France over 16,000 m² – France, one of the most important wine countries in the world, is now very close to our well-known North Entrance with its underground connection.
We have planned our Champagne Lounge as a “golden entrée” to the France section. It opens very elegantly and imposingly in 2022: really all the well-known brands are represented – but also many more fantastic Champagne Crus. Around 160 Champagne Houses in total will present themselves at ProWein this year.

I am particularly delighted that even during these difficult times we have managed to welcome the whole of France with all its wine-growing regions. Of course, you will find the relevant market leaders here – but also many small, fine châteaux and producers are once again taking the opportunity to present themselves at ProWein.

From all over the world: At ProWein you will take a world tour through all the important wine-growing regions. The entire spectrum is represented – from the well-known, traditional to almost undiscovered regions. Also experience the “same but different” trend show with craft drinks in Hall 7.0. Take advantage of the offer and be inspired.
